Celebrating Cowgirls, Community & Giving Back: Western Border and Co. Supports Cowgirls of the West Museum
There is something truly special about being part of a community that honors the strength, courage, and stories of the women who helped shape the West.
Since moving Western Border and Co. to Wyoming, I have been continually inspired by the incredible people and organizations that preserve the traditions, history, and heart of the Western lifestyle. One organization that holds a very special place in my heart is the Cowgirls of the West Museum.
I am so excited and honored to be a member of this amazing nonprofit organization and to support the important work they do in celebrating the legacy of cowgirls throughout history. The Cowgirls of the West Museum is a Wyoming 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to sharing the stories of the women who helped build the West — from ranch women to rodeo cowgirls and pioneers who paved the way for future generations.
Supporting the Annual Cowgirls of the West Fundraiser
On July 20th, the Cowgirls of the West Museum will host their Annual Brunch Fundraiser, a wonderful celebration featuring a live auction, silent auction, fashion show, and gathering of people who love and support Western heritage.
Western Border and Co. is honored to contribute to this special event by donating:
- Two handcrafted Western hats
- One of our Jewelry Making Kits, designed to bring creativity, connection, and a little piece of Western spirit into someone’s hands
Every piece I create carries a story. Whether it is a prayer necklace, a handmade accessory, or a creative workshop experience, my hope is that it brings joy, encouragement, and inspiration to the person who receives it.
Why Giving Back Matters
As an artist and designer, I believe creativity has the power to connect people. Supporting nonprofits like Cowgirls of the West allows us to celebrate the women who came before us while helping preserve the traditions we cherish today.
The Western way of life is built on community — neighbors helping neighbors, artists sharing their gifts, and people coming together to support causes that matter.
I am grateful to be part of a community that values history, faith, creativity, and the spirit of the cowgirl.
Thank you, Cowgirls of the West Museum, for keeping these stories alive and for allowing Western Border and Co. to be a small part of your mission. I look forward to continuing to support this incredible organization and celebrating the amazing women of the West.
Until next time… keep creating, keep believing, and keep embracing your own Western story.
With gratitude,
