Mexican Pizza Ingredients:
- 1lb Hamburger Meat
- 1 Package of Taco Seasoning
- 1 Pizza Dough (you can either buy at store or see fresh recipe)
- 1 Can of diced tomatoes or 1 large tomato
- one garlic clove
- less than half of an onion
- Melt Mozzarella Cheese
- Sharp or Mild Cheddar Cheese
- Pinch salt
- Pinch pepper
- 1/2 tsp Italian oregano
- 1/2 Tsp Vegetable oil
You can either buy pizza dough or make it yourself. I choose this wonderful recipe: The best homemade pizza dough from www.crunchycreamysweet.com (makes 2 pizza’s). I make it in my bread/dough maker.
For the tomato sauce, just cook 1 can of diced tomatoes, one fresh tomato (diced), onion, cloves, oregano seasoning, salt, and pepper. You can always add more salt and pepper to your desire. Then put it through the blender till its a smooth sauce. (See how crunchycreamsweet.com does it)
Then cook one pound of hamburger meat and add taco seasoning to it.
Oil your pizza sheet, then cut your homemade dough in half and roll it out. Then place it on the pizza sheet. Then add half of the fresh tomato sauce.
Place mozzarella cheese on top, add hamburger meat, and last add cheddar cheese and jalapenos if desired.
Then preheat oven 420 degrees and cook for 18 minutes.
P.S. The pizza dough recipe and the tomato sauce is for 2 pizza’s. I usually put the other halves in my refrigerator for the next day. And make a different kind of pizza. (see www.crunchycreamysweet.com for more recipes, we just love that website)

I did a little experimenting in the kitchen and came up with this drink for kids or adults. (Adults version with a splash of Vodka)
2 cups of frozen berry medley
1 cup of squeezed lemon juice
1 cup of Sugar
8 cups of Water
In a small saucepan put 2 cups of frozen berry medley, 1 cup of lemon juice, 1 cup of sugar, 1 cup of water. Let it simmer until the sugar is melted.
Put it into a blender, until it’s completely smooth. You can strain it if you don’t like the berry seeds. It didn’t bother me, so I left it. Add the rest of the water and serve it on ice. For adults, you can add a splash of Vodka.
P.S. You can add more sugar if you desire it on the sweeter side.

Today I felt like showing you want I have been up too during this difficult time in our lives. Sometimes I turn to bake or sewing to make me relax. And my son has been in our pantry none stop, since this coronavirus.
It’s been hitting our son pretty hard. And the only way I can comfort him is through lots of love, food and just being there for him.
So on my facebook page I will be doing a couple of live videos on how I do this bread in the bread machine. Beware, no make-up or dolling myself up. It just me and my everyday life.
The first time I made this bread it was so hard that you could use it for a baseball bat. Of course, that was the first time I ever made bread before. I think I had a yeast problem. So rest assured my bread comes out as if I bought it from the bakery.
(PS. Pictures and link will be added soon to this post)
4 Cups of Flour
1/2 tsp Salt
2 tsp Sugar
4 tsp Butter (make sure you soften it)
3 1/2 tsp Dry Yeast
1 1/4 cup of Milk
Bake at 400 Degrees at 35-45 minutes.
Put all the wet ingredients into the bread machine first and then put all of the dry ingredients on top. And place into the bread machine to knead and raise. The braid the bread and put egg wash on it (one egg yolk, mixed with a little whipping cream). Place it in the oven to bake. Also, put a small backing dish of water next to it. This helps keep the moisture in the oven for the bread to come out perfect. You need to watch this closely towards the end because certain ovens and altitude will change the outcome. You know when it is done when it’s nice and brown on top. And when you turn the bread around and tap on it, and it sounds hallow.

I love using burlap and old metal such as horseshoes together. I was lucky enough to have
collected rusty old horseshoes from a girlfriend of mine. I just scratched off the rust and washed them up a bit.
Used my husbands electrical wire to make the handle
Then wrap Burlap and around it. The top I did a macramé stitch on it. And added Christmas décor to finish it up with.
Simple and easy and make great Holiday gifts.
